Hind Bahwan

Founder & Chairperson Bahwan CyberTek Group

Hind Bahwan is the Founder and Chairperson of Bahwan CyberTek Group, HBTI DMCC, and Bahwan Lifestyle. She is involved in and has served on the Boards of a variety of public and private organizations, including the Harvard Business School Middle East and North Africa Board (MENAAB), the Middle Centre Advisory Board of the London School of Economics, the Middle East Advisory Board of Coutts & Co., the Family Business Network (FBN) for GCC, and the Omani French Friendship Association. Hind Bahwan is a recipient of many honors, including the Legion Of Honor Award from France's Ambassador to the Sultanate Of Oman in 2019, Ernst & Young's 'Oman's Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2000', Arabian Business 'e-Achiever of the Year' award from H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rasheed in 2001, IT Women of the Year 2002' award by UNDP, Global Leaders for Tomorrow' award by the World Economic Forum in 2003, Global Young Leader' by the World Economic Forum in 2007 and Woman of Power Award by Asian Business Leadership Forum in 2011.

Durgaprasad (DP) is the Co-founder and Director of Bahwan CyberTek (BCT) Group. He oversees the strategic directions, operations and business development of the company while spearheading the development of IP products, pioneering large global digital transformation engagements and envisioning accelerated growth. He has created nine subsidiaries and three Joint Ventures, with multiple business initiatives across USA, ME, India and Far East. His vision of creating a world-class IP-driven organization led to BCT creating award-winning products that have been built to accelerate the digital transformation journeys of organizations. He has steered BCT to deliver transformational solutions across industry domains in twenty countries across North America, Middle East, Far East, Africa and Asia. The BCT Group has received a number of awards and recognitions from leading organizations and technology forums, including Business Excellence Award from Oracle, Red Herring's top 100 Technology Companies in APAC, Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific Ranking & Fast 50 companies in India, NASSCOM Innovation award and the IMC IT award for best enterprise-class product. DP was ranked among the top 30 business leaders in Oman and among the top 100 most influential CEO's of Oman for several years.
